Is heaven real: Is heaven really real?

Is it really that heaven is real, is it true that it really exists, how can we be sure that heaven is a place of comfort and great enjoyment, right after spending this life on earth.

These are the most frequently asked questions by people who are still unsure whether this is actually real. It’s common to have these doubts, but in this article we will try to show you that heaven is really real and that life is just after it. Those who accept God’s salvation will enjoy a place of excellence and will never have anything to complain about again.

Is heaven real?

The bible says that heaven is a place where the angels of God and God live. And everyone who believes in Jesus Christ will be with him in heaven. However, the bible mentions that there are three heavens, one that we see, which is the normal heaven. The other is heaven, where some scholars say it is the heaven where the fallen angels are found, their place of residence. And the third heaven is the heaven where the dwelling of the Most High is. The apostle Paul writes that there was a man who went to the third heaven and there he saw ineffable things that it is not lawful for man to tell.

“was caught up to the third heaven” (2 Corinthians 12:2), he adds that there is paradise, thus describing the place that God had placed Adam and Eve.

The bible says that heaven is where the throne of God is located, if you have ever noticed the celestial arch after a rainy day, you can see that it is an arch around the earth, the bible says that this arch is above the earth. chair of God. That is, so that he remembers the covenant he made with Noah after the flood (Isaiah 66:1).

In Mark he reports that after appearing to his disciples, shortly after the resurrection, the Lord Jesus was received into heaven, and sat at the right hand of God, thus fulfilling the prophecy spoken by the prophets. Furthermore, young Estevan saw Jesus sitting at the right hand of God (Mark 16:19; Acts 7:55).

Jesus himself says that in the house of God there are many rooms and that it was necessary for him to go first, and even if he didn’t have one he would prepare a place for his chosen ones. Jesus came to his own, but his own did not receive him, which makes us understand what he was told to “prepare a place for yourselves”, that is, for everyone who believes in him. A place that was for the Jews, now became for all human beings who believe in his name and in the work done on the cross of Calvary (John 14).

There are people who do not believe in the existence of heaven, thus denying the existence of the God of glory. The Bible says that our body generates today, ardently desiring to put on our clothing that comes from heaven.

  • Did Elijah go to heaven?
  • Who went to heaven in the Bible?
  • Did Elijah go to the heaven of God’s glory?

In fact, if you read the biblical text carefully, you can see that Elijah did not go to the heaven declared by Paul as paradise, but rather the heaven of our atmosphere.

The bible says that it was common for this to happen to Elijah, when he was on a mountain and God transported him to another place. This also happened with Philip, the Apostle of the Lord Jesus, when he was with the eunuch on the bank of a river, the Spirit transported him to another location.

Elijah was not caught up to heaven, he went in a whirlwind to heaven, heaven is in the singular thus representing the atmospheric heaven (2 Kings 2:1).

What makes every reader’s mind spin is because the title that is imposed in the Bible is “Elijah is taken up to heaven”, but the Bible says heaven and not heavens. Furthermore, a writing in the Bible reports that in fact the prophet Elijah was on earth. The book of 2 Chronicles says, “Then a writing came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus says the LORD, the God of your father David: Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father, and in the ways of Asa , king of Judah” (2 Chronicles 21:12). Studies say that about 10 years had passed after the disappearance of the prophet Elijah.

Therefore, we can have the idea that it was routine for the Holy Spirit to take him from Monte to Monte. Well, before recognizing Elisha as Elijah’s successor, the servants first went to look for him.

In 2 Kings 2:16 he tells us the following: “And they said unto him, Behold, now among thy servants there are fifty mighty men of valour; now let them go and seek thy master; perhaps the Spirit of the LORD will lift him up. and cast him into one of the mountains, or into one of the valleys: But he said, Send them not.

Elisha, however, said that if they went, that it was not through a word that he had spoken, but that it was by their choice, to go looking for Elijah. Well, they were afraid of putting Elisha in Elijah’s place, without Elijah having left. That is, because – it was super common at the time for the Spirit to take you through a whirlwind to another mountain or place.

Therefore, Paul makes it very clear to the brothers that he was in Corinth telling them: since we do not look at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen. For the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are unseen are eternal. Understanding that heaven is something real that can be assured through faith in God. The truth about heaven is that everything originated there, and everything will return to it. Man after his death, his body will return to the dust, where it had its origin and the spirit, will return to God who gave it to him. The origin of man comes from God, and God lives in the heaven of heavens, where man will return to be judged by God for everything he has done in the body. There it will be decided where man will go, to paradise or to eternal torment. The Bible says that those who believe in Christ, there is no longer condemnation, but they have passed from death to life.

The hope we have lies in the victory obtained by Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Where you purchased for God men from all tribes and nations, their blood is the passport to enter the heaven of eternity. Keeping in mind that accepting God’s grace is writing your name in the book of life, where no man can erase it.
